obama versus Ronald Reagan on the economy…

Posted by Stephen on July 27, 2010

From POLITICO

It’s easy to understand why President Barack Obama’s friends don’t want to acknowledge that July represents 17 months since Congress passed the $787 billion economic stimulus bill — the president’s signature measure to jump-start the economy and fight unemployment.

Obama says the economy is headed in the right direction; jobs are being created, not lost, and he is doing everything possible to revive the “worst economy since the Great Depression.” Most of the national press has been remarkably accepting of this narrative — even if the president has been vague, at best, about when we might finally see an uptick in economic growth and job creation.

Obama: Clueless on the economy, bankrupt of leadership skills and resorting to pointing fingers at anyone he can….

Posted by Stephen on July 25, 2010

President Obama says an economic plan by the House Republican leader just repeats job-killing policies of the past and would take the country “backward at a time when we need to keep America moving forward.” It doesn’t matter that his economic plan has added 5 Trillion dollars of debt to this nations deficit; it doesn’t matter that he promised NO tax increases to pay for his unconstitutional obamacare plan; it doesn’t matter that he has no idea how to create any job that isn’t a government job, because to a socialist he is right on point. That’s all he knows because that’s all he is.

Finally, the obama decipt acknowledged in court…

Posted by Stephen on July 20, 2010

By Conn Carroll

Throughout his presidential campaign, then-candidate Barack Obama promised the American people: “If you’re a family that’s making $250,000 a year or less, you will see no increase in your taxes.” After he became President, Barack Obama reiterated that pledge, promising the American people in his September 9th health care press conference: “The middle-class will realize greater security, not higher taxes.” But Obamacare does contain tax hikes. Tons of them. From taxes on tanning beds to taxes on employment and investments, Obamacare is a certified job-killing machine.

Obama’s “new” socialism includes “Cap and Ban”

Posted by Stephen on July 14, 2010

By: Conn Carroll

The front page of USA Today claims: “President Obama’s attempt to use the Gulf of Mexico oil spill to help propel comprehensive energy legislation has failed.” Don’t believe it for a second. On Monday the Obama administration reissued a ban on offshore oil drilling in the gulf after federal courts twice invalidated the first ban, calling it “arbitrary and capricious.”

Democrats OWN Poll says: Obama is a Socialist

Posted by Stephen on July 13, 2010

By David Asman

Obama’s a socialist. That’s the view of 55% of American voters, according to a new poll. And this isn’t coming from a Republican pollster.

It comes from Democracy Corps, a polling group started by life-long Democratic operative James Carville and his partner Stan Greenberg. When the group asked 1,000 voters in mid-June how well the term “socialist” fits President Obama, 55% said “well” or “very well.”
